Bros Phil and James Younghusband were dropped from the national list in the coming Philippine Football Peace Cup

Through text message Azkals coach Hans Michael Weiss informed the brothers that they’re considered out of the team to play Peace Cup at the RMFS from Sept. 25-19.

It was reported that Phil and James were shock upon receipt of the message, but jointly reaffirmed their desire to continue wearing the national uniform.

“We remain 100 percent committed to the national team. We do not know what transpired, as we have been in constant talks with Coach Weiss. But we respect whatever decision management has. We will be available for whatever call up,” they said.
