La Puente California. A La Puente High School boys soccer team in California is in the center of a sex hazing scandal that reportedly took place in 2011. The four victims are 14 and 15 years of age.
Officials at the high school said a parent told them about the alleged abuse her son who was not named in the report suffered at the hands of his teammates. The school district administrators called the police to report the incident.
Hacienda-La Puente School District Superintendent Barbara Nakaoka said "We do not and will not turn a blind eye to reports of harassement or hazing. Therefore we took immediate action action to contact law enforcemnent to intiate an investigation."
Four students have been summoned and released to their parents in connection with the investigation.
A soccer coach with the boys team is on administrative leave during the investigation.
Investigators in this case said they plan to look back as far as 2003 for many more hazing crimes that may have commited by the boys soccer team.
