When questioned by the host of ABC in ‘The View’ on what she and her husband Barack Obama would be doing 5-years hence, Michelle Obama said they would love to go on a long vacation and retrace their honeymoon trail along California's scenic Route 1.

This has been reported in abc12.com of dated 25th of September 2012.

While speaking his mind out at a daytime talk show ‘The View’ on ABC with Michelle by his side, President Barack Obama has revealed that, his priority was a second term in the White House.

He went on to add that once he quit the office of President, he would love to make a comeback to the profession of teaching. Before joining the Senate, he had been a lecturer in the law school of the University of Chicago for 12-years.

This admission is seen by many as his attempts to woo the female voters.

This has been reported in bbc.com of dated 25th of September 2012.

When asked by the co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on whether his foreign policies had failed to live up to the expectations of the middle class, the President clarified that whatever actions had been taken were meant to deal with not just the immediate crisis, but also to ensure that the middle class is feeling more secure.

On the subject of taxation vis-à-vis Mitt Romney’s ideas, he said that he harbored a different concept of how to make the economy grow - growth is faster when the middle class is doing well, is how he looks at it.

About his future plans, he summed it up to Barbara Walters, one of the co-hosts as ‘working with kids’.

It would not be in classrooms but would encompass a greater vision like being able to go around in various cities and help to create mentorships and apprenticeships so that the youth acquire the sense of possibility and opportunity.

Later, Barbara Walters suggested that his wife Michelle should make a bid for the White House.

At this, the President readily agreed and went on to say that she would be ‘terrific, but temperamentally I just don't think that...’

However, Michelle Obama intervened at this point before he could finish and had her say explaining that she did not have the patience to be President of the United States.

It may be recalled that in an earlier solo appearance on ‘The View’ in July 2010, Obama had attracted an estimated 6.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen.
