New trade agreement with China is a significant progress, Harper

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said that new trade agreement between Canada and China will create thousands of employments and trade relations between both countries will be strengthened. Today in Russia at APEC conference agreement between both countries for progress in investments was signed. At this moment Prime Minister Stephen Harper said that with these new laws of investment the drawbacks in trade relations between both countries will be finished and Canadian investors investing in China will also be protected. During the year China did record investment of 11 billion dollars in Canada whereas Canadian investment in China was just 4.6 billion dollars. While talking to PM Harper Chinese president Hu Jintao said that he give a lot of interest to trade relations with China, to its answer PM Harper said that we want to solve some important issues to strengthen our trade relationship. He also expressed hi anxiety on increasing human rights records in China. Canadian exports to china are only of 17 billion dollars whereas Chinese exports to Canada are of 48 billion dollars.
