It was a brazen 80-second super-efficient operation in the Selfridges, a departmental store in Manchester in which three robbers stole 100 high-end watches like Audemars Piguet, Jaeger Lecoultre, Hublot and Cartier collectively valued at over £1m in full view of shoppers inside the store.

The operation occurred near 7.30 pm and they escaped in a black Mercedes Benz which was driven by a fourth accomplice.
The abandoned car was later found a short distance away.
The robbers wore high visibility clothes which appeared to be brand new ones.
