Berea Ohio. Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren plans to meet with former Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown in the next few days to repair a damaged relationship they had since 2010 when Holmgren dismissed Brown as an advisor under Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner.
Holmgren has told the football team Brown will appear this weekend in a Browns alumni ceremony before the Browns play at home versus the Buffalo Bills in Cleveland.
In 2010 Brown did not appear in the 2010 alumni function when he and 15 Cleveland Browns former players were inducted into the Cleveland Browns Ring Of Honor a function started by Holmgren since Brown felt disrespected that he was no longer an advisor with the Browns.
Brown will be on the football field this Sunday when two former Browns players Clarence Scott and Ernie Green are inducted into the Browns legends club.
Brown created controversy when the Browns selected running back Trent Richardson as the third overall pick in the 2012 National Football League Draft by calling Richarson "ordinary".
Richardson said he is excited to meet the greatest Browns running back this Sunday. Richardson said he took Brown's comments as a form of motiviaton and not an insult and he thanked Brown to making him a better player and person this football season.
