Chrysler employee Stabs to Death co-worker, turns gun on self at Detroit Factory
http://www.facebook.com/hoodnews247 Two people are dead following a violent morning that began at the Jefferson North Plant in Detroit.

Detroit police say a man was stabbed inside the factory around 8 a.m. Thursday. Witnesses tell FOX 2's Amy Andrews that just before break, a man jumped off his hi-lo machine and stabbed a union steward several times in the face, neck and chest. The victim's cousin, who also works at the factory, says he was taken to St. John Hospital where he later died. Police say the suspect fled the factory and was later found at Belle Isle where he committed suicide. Police had no information about what led to stabbing or the relationship between the men. The names of the deceased were not immediately released. The Jefferson North plant employs just more than 3,000 workers on two shifts. No other employees were injured, and workers on the first shift were sent home, said Jodi Tinson, a spokeswoman at Chrysler Group LLC. "Chrysler Group is deeply saddened" by the events, the company said in a statement. The UAW also released a statement regarding the tragic incident.
