Since the big royal wedding back in April last year, all eyes have turned to Britain’s famous royal couple about the baby situation. It’s no secret that Prince William and Kate Middleton want to start a family, however with the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympic Games, plus a variety of trips scheduled in the fall are going to push things back for the royal pair’s plans. Despite denials about the rumors surrounding a royal bun in the oven, Kate Middleton has been looking more on the curvy side of late, which has got us all thinking whether a royal baby is on the way.
One conservative MP, Claire Perry, has received criticism about her open comments about Kate Middleton’s pregnancy. During a debate at the Marlborough College, Kate’s alma mater, the MP made the comment, “I think Kate Middleton is pregnant – and that would be good for the economy.” While Perry’s comments voice what everyone else has been thinking, Royal observers deem the comments “unhelpful” and “none over her business.” Some claim the comments are purely speculative, since Ms. Perry would have no inside knowledge. The comment was also completely out of context since the debate was on whether the Olympics were good for the economy. How it ended up with discussing Kate Middleton’s prospective pregnancy, we’ll never know. What ever happens, we will not know for sure until Buckingham Palace make an official announcement, and that won’t be till the Duchess of Cambridge reaches the three-month mark.
