Tom Gamboa Talks About Attack

2002 - Two Chicago White Sox fans raced onto the field at Comiskey Park in Chicago and attacked Kansas City Royals first base coach Tom Gamboa. The "fans" were later identified as William Ligue Jr. and his son. Both were intoxicated at the time. The pair pleaded guilty and received probation despite the fact that the father was in possession of a knife during the attack. Go figure!
