Amy Grindhouse.com displayed two videos with clips of Dr. Phil interviewing Dina Lohan to give her an opportunity to tell her side of the story. Although she answers most of his questions, she appeared to be quite nervous the whole time, often seen fidgeting, interrupting him, laughing, stopping and changing the subject with light comments, and always appearing to be distracted by her surroundings. She also seemed light-headed and unable to focus for too long, as if she was intoxicated with alcohol, drugs or both. She even argued with Dr. Phil, telling him to “shush,” as well as sticking up her middle fingers in a “whatever” gesture, which was blurred on the video screen. On top of that, she got paid $50,000 for this interview. Her ex-husband, Michael Lohan, later stated that he wasn’t paid anything for his appearance, although he “… appeared via satellite,” on the show. Dr. Phil and the producers weren’t happy with her interview because Dina Lohan wasted their time and money.
