Romney: Obama Campaign About Hate

Internal problems plaguing the Romney campaign have come to the forefront, now that the candidates' chances of victory are fading. Some are saying even with a shake-up, it may be too late for Mitt Romney to beat President Obama.

The Republican National Convention failed to give the Romney-Ryan team the boost they had hoped for. Romney has also suffered from a series of gaffes and questionable remarks that have lowered his appeal to both conservative and independent voters.

Romney was already weak with female voters. Adding Rep. Paul Ryan to the ticket, with his regressive views on women's reproductive rights, appears to have made matters even worse.

Reports are now surfacing that the Romney campaign is crumbling from within, raising even more questions about Romney's ability to be president. If he can't run his own campaign without damaging results, how can he run the country?

Romney has been widely criticized for being too vague. And the few details Romney has made public, like his economic plan, have been widely criticized for being "mathematically impossible." This has further damaged Romney's credibility.

The Romney campaign has been based on a purely negative message. But voters want details that offer a positive view for the future.

Now with a late-game shake-up of his campaign staff on the table, some are beginning to question his claims that he has any real skills at running a business.

On Monday, Eric Bates of Rolling Stone told MSNBCs 'Now with Alex Wagner,' that Romney's claim that he is a business turn-around specialist is a myth.

"What Romney did at Bain wasn't turn around companies…What he did was go in and suck the value out of the companies before they collapsed – and got his money whether they collapsed or not. So he doesn't have experience in managing," Bates said. "The idea that he's a managerial expert who knows how to run things is being exposed in the way he's running his campaign – that is was never in business to begin with."

In what sounds like a Romney campaign epitaph, a longtime Romney friend told Politico, “You design a campaign to reinforce the guy that you’ve got. The campaign has utterly failed to switch from a primary mind-set to a general-election mind-set, and did not come up with a compelling, policy-backed argument for credible change.”

After a string of Obama attacks that have backfired, the Romney campaign now plans to double-down on more attacks, and is already planning to call the president a liar at the first debate on Oct. 3, in Denver.

While demonizing and lying may play well to the radical GOP base, the more Romney acts like a back-street bully, the more he turns off the independent and female voters he so desperately needs to win.

The question remains, are the continued attacks going to suddenly make a difference in favor of Romney, or will they turn out to prove that Romney is a former CEO that doesn't know when a plan simply is not working.

We will all find out on Election Day, Nov. 6, 2012.

Nice spin. Just to set the record straight. Here is Rasmussen's daily presidential tracking poll. Doesn't look like crumbling to me:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 45% of the vote. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. See daily tracking history.

Eighty-five percent (85%) of conservatives support Romney, and 91% of liberals plan to vote for Obama. As they have throughout the campaign, voters under 40 tend to prefer the president, while their elders favor Romney.

When “leaners” are included, the race is tied with both Obama and Romney at 48%. Leaners are those who are initially uncommitted to the two leading candidates but lean towards one of them when asked a follow-up question

Just as Jimmy Carter's Waterloo was the Iranian Hostage Crisis, so is today's Mideast Crisis Obama's Waterloo.

Just as the mainstream media predicted an overwhelming Carter win in 1980, and Ronald Reagan won by a landslide, just as in 2004 the very same media led by CNN, CBS, ABC, PBS and NBC predicted a massive Kerry win, Bush won by a massive LANDSLIDE!

Well, guess what?

OBAMA’S OUTREACH TO THE MUSLIM WORLD: The Chickens Coming Home to Roost

THE RESULTS of MASSIVE FOREIGN POLICY FAILURES
Anti-American Sentiment
Jordan (Bush and Obama) 74 - 86
Pakistan (Bush and Obama) 60- 80
Egypt (Bush and Obama) 78 – 94

THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION'S MUSLIM OUTREACH, as well as their Domestic Policy are Chickens Coming Home to Roost:

Obama's Middle East woes deepened this week with a series of mob attacks on U.S. diplomatic compounds and the killing of America's ambassador to Libya. Demonstrators were incensed by a U.S.-made film they consider blasphemous to Islam.

REF: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/09/17/us-mideast-usa-challenge-idUSBRE88G0VL20120917

Unfortunately, that last sentence had become the Obama Administration’s coordinated “talking point” on which Reuters and the mainstream media, Obama, UN ambassador Susan Rice and her boss Hillary Clinton had doubled down just as new information is coming in to discredit their words.

Unfortunately for the administration, the Mideast explosions were timed poorly for the president’s re-election just as information from several sources not coordinated with the White House but actually closer to the events on the ground have contradicted the administration’s “narratives.”

Our own intelligence services, locals living near the American embassy in Libya, and the Libyan president himself confirmed that the attacks took place BEFORE the protests had begun.

In other words, the death of the American Ambassador was caused by a series of mishaps, incompetence and administrative negligence of the Obama Administration, the coverup for which is blaming a relatively unknown video that was pasted to You Tube by a Christian with fanatical anti-Muslim sentiments. Nevertheless, the administration is covering up for its negligence by doubling down on a false story on top of a fabricated narrative.

Meanwhile the Walk in the Park rioters took advantage of the bottom feeders in the Mideast - the same birds of the same feather, and this time Wall Street ignored them as the city's finest swept up the trash. All these losers have accomplished is defecating into doorways, having public sex, and leaving tons of trash to be picked up and paid for by the rest of us. Just as John Corzine, Obama's chief fundraiser lost $1.5 billion of innocent people's investment.

Occupiers are just overwrought teens and homeless who need another dose of attention from the rest of the world who need to work.

They get the attention all right, while the work and shovel ready jobs are a figment of Obama's imagination as well as those of his fans.

This is how propaganda is played out. As a political writer, you should be more observant and a little objective as well. If you don't like Romney, that's fine but you should avoid stating conjectures and wishes as facts. Romney's campaign is doing fine. He is running with a decent point differential.

itobin53, being an observer from a distant land land I see Romney's campaign has lost its bearing and direction on the trail. It can no longer connect with the American voters. Romney's boat is jerking and wandering in the midst of the ocean of the 2012 US presidential elections campaign. It is in SOS or in distress conditions having lost connections.

Social organic compositions like that of campaign organization are likened to biological organisms with built-in systems to get rid of wastes and toxins from the body.

The 2012 US presidential election is now removing and flushing out its wastes and toxins as contained in the Romney campaign to give more vigor and vitality to Obama's campaign. Rate you up.

It is rather odd that Romney has crumbled but the polls don't show it. Must be a delayed reaction.

itobin, you are way off base, almost as delusional as the current administration in Washington. Romney is right on with the value that made America strong.

even before the leaked video he was starting to crumble ... now with hios Let Them Eat Cake remarks he's got a lot of work to do... many people even some that leaned his way will be dismayed by his performance RATED UP

Maybe someone should show the whole video and see what the question was that he answered. He rightly pointed out that those 47% are already in the Obama camp. It seems that the left, including the main stream media, will do anything to deflect from the President's performance.

Do you really think that the release of the sound byte was coincidental or a deflection to take the pressure of the Administration for their failure in the embassy attack? The whole Middle East policy is crumbling. Afghanistan is falling apart. Why talk about that when you can find another side issue?

You are right Karl. There is nothing that is not true in Romney's video. He needs to get dirty in this game because Obama and his loyal friends in the media are doing it. Forget the nice guy thing, this is politics.

The rest of the video is supposed to be out today on Mother Jones.
