Alfonso Signorini, the Editor of ‘Closer’ magazine wonders why Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, should be different from girls her age.

The ‘Closer’ had got hold of the topless photographs of Kate Middleton beside a swimming pool with Prince William and Alfonso Signorini sees nothing wrong in publishing these photos because Kate Middleton is a woman to today.

Incidentally, both ‘Closer’, the French magazine and ‘Chi’, its Italian version are owned by Mondadori media group of Silvio Berlusconi, the former Prime Minister of Italy.

The British Royal family is livid at the invasion of their privacy and has initiated proceedings to take the magazine to court.

Yes, as per provisions of the French Law, the issues of the magazine would have to be withdrawn from all outlets in France and the Editor and photographer might have to go to prison for one year.

But – the offending photographs would continue to remain in circulation through other outlets.
