END WAR Canadian Military Denies Troops Are Being Investigated For Smuggling Afghan Heroin

In an attack by Afghan militants on the Camp Bastion/Camp Leatherneck, 5 aircraft were destroyed, 3 more were badly damaged and 2 US Marines were killed apart from at least 16 Taliban militants.

Nearby buildings and an aircraft hangar were also damaged in the attack.

The militants were armed with rocket propelled grenades and small arms and had attacked by breaching the perimeter of the main U.S. Marine base in southern Afghanistan.

This has been reported in skynews.com of dated the 16th of September 2012.

The base is a military facility in the Helmand province and the same base where a burning man, presumably to be an Afghan suicide bomber, had targeted the plane of Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in March-2012.

Prabirghose,my coming to your page to comment is a living proof I have come back to AV. Excellent news report but fearful because it is all about war, killing and destruction of human lives and properties. Yes, very sad that war continues to afflict the Afghans. Rate you up.
