British government is failing in passion of ceasing the assets of government of Former President Hasni Mubarak. According to research report of BBC there is no effect of sanctions on assets and companies of former President Hasni Mubarak and his close relatives. Egyptian government has claimed on British government that they are hiding the stolen assets and are violating international agreements. However British government said that they are trying their best. According to report government of Hasni Mubarak was ended by a revolution on 11 February last year and before this Hasni Mubarak and his close relatives stole billions of dollars.
After the end of President Mubarak’s government, British foreign minister William Hague three days later told the parliament that Britain will cooperate on request by Egyptian Government to cease assets of former government officers. Whereas after 37 days of this announcement Britain and Europe Union imposed sanctions. Egyptian said that in this period Hasni Mubarak and his close relatives transferred their assets to somewhere else. British government has ceased the assets of President Hasni Mubarak, his wife, two sons, and other 15 Egyptians, whose total worth is 135 million dollars. Whereas BBC has discovered from the research that which assets couldn’t be ceased by British Government.
