RE: Paige Tomas ( mother with little girl ) performs on The X Factor - 9-12-2012

On the 2nd season of 'X Facotr' USA, two new judges showed what they got. "Princess of Pop", I should say she was kinda mean and entertaining. Ex-Disney Channel star Demi Lovato knows how to react with the contestants performances.

"I know what music my generation is listening to right now. I think I know what it takes to make a star," said Lovato. Demi and Spears was a little bit tough to them, unless you deserved to hear the word "YES".

Cowell said, "You're going to see Britney, and Demi, unfiltered."

First contestant who kick off the stage was Thomas, a young mother of 3-year-old daughter. Paige Thomas, a nursing student from Texas, she chose to give her daughter a better life over her singing career.

Paige before her turn on the stage, busy taking care of her daughter in front of the mirror, while two sisters, Kaci and Kaylee Newton, said that Paige has a run in her stocking, hogging the mirror, and lets her daughter put her dirty hand on Kaci's pink jumpsuit.

Let's see you will go through to the second round. Paige seems like she has Rhianna style, and she performed Mary J. Blinge's "I'm Goin' Down".

Brit: “You’re flawless”

Demi: “Totally a superstar”

"Girl, you're a star," returning judge L.A. Reid says, telling Thomas her performance reminds her of a woman he met in his office a few years back named Rihanna. "I see that same something special in you," he adds.

You're commercial with a capital C," and with that the judges send her off with four "yes" votes. Before she can leave the stage Thomas is intercepted by her daughter and they share a hug that may have been the cutest moment of the night.

The next contestant, 50-year-old, Armenta, who sang "Candy Girl" and raises her arms like he won the grand final after finishing the song--no one clap their hands and remain silent for a few seconds.

"I want to know who let you on stage," Spears says. Of course, everybody was uncomfortable knowing that he's out tune.

Demi: “A lot of people work very hard for their dreams but it’s not meant for everybody.” Shawn: “That’s why you use auto tune and I don’t.”

Well, Demi was right. Maybe he will find his luck in another competition.
