Apple Inc. unveiled its latest version of iPhone on Wednesday, September 12. The newest iPhone 5 is thinner, lighter, faster and taller than previous models. The 112-g device is 7.6 mm thick. It features a 4-inch display. The alluminium and glass body will be available in two shades, “black and slate” and “white and silver.” The new iPhone has a 1,136 x 640 resolution display.
The device runs on 4G LTE networks and is powered by a faster A6 processor, enabling users browse the web faster. It consists of Apple’s new wideband audio, 3 microphones and a noice-cancelling earpiece. Apple claims the new iPhone 5 has a long life battery than any previous version. It promises 225 hours on standby mode and 8 hours while talking or surfing the web on 3G. Now you can capture panorama photographs with the new iPhone 5. Its front and rear cameras have also been upgraded (720p and 1080p respectively).
Prices are set for iPhone 5 according to the different configurations, for 16GB $199, for 32GB $299 and for 64GB $399. iPhone 5 will be available in stores from September 21, reported the Huffington Post.
