The Butler 2

The butler is one of the films that a lot of people are eyeing to see next year. One reason is its all star cast. The film is directed by Lee Daniels, the acclaimed director who brought us Precious and the upcoming The Paperboy which stars Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Matthew McConaughey and John Cusack.

This time, we get The Butler. The film is based on the true story of Cecil Gaines, the White House butler who served eight American Presidents which ran a course of three decades. The Butler is played by Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker. The rest of the cast are amazing. Stars like Oprah Winfrey, Lenny Kravitz, Alan Rickman, Jane Fonda, Alex Pettyfer, Jesse Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Vanessa Redgrave, and Mariah Carey. Key persons in the film are played by John Cusack as Richard Nixon, Robin Williams as Dwight Eisenhower, James Marsden as John F. Kennedy, Minka Kelly as Jackie Kennedy, Liev Schreiber as Lyndon B. Johnson, Nelsan Ellis as Martin Luther King, Jr., Melissa Leo as Mamie Eisenhower. Jane Fonda and Allan Rickman play Nancy Reagan and Ronald Reagan respectively.
