The U.S. Men's National Team grabbed a crucial 1-0 win against Jamaica in FIFA World Cup Qualifying. The USA returned to Columbus Crew Stadium, site of some of its greatest Qualifying triumphs, to host Jamaica in rematch of a game played just four days earlier in Kingston. Herculez Gomez grabbed the lone goal for the USA who moved to the top of Group A with the win.

Herculez Gomez opens the scoring for the USA with a free kick at Columbus Crew Stadium. The USA would go on to win 1-0 to go back on top of Group A in the Semifinal Round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying.

After losing in their first match in World Cup qualifying against Jamaica, the USA came home and defeated Jamaica off of a Hercules Gomez free kick goal! USA dominated the game and took the 1-0 result home and picked up a much needed win to pick up 3 points in their group! The win was very special also on this special day of 9/11!
