After winning the first leg with a single goal in Toronto last week, Canada was handed a devastating defeat in Panama city. Canada fell to third place in itsgroup after Panama handed Canada's side a 2-0 loss.
Blackburn got the 1-0 go ahead goal in the 23rd minute, with a header just inside the post. Blackburn was able to elude Canadian defenders and unleash a powerful kick.

Returning in the second half, Canada won a few corner kicks, but all without result. In the 57th minute Panama went ahead 2-0 when Perez easily found the target, after a backpass from Quintero, for the Panama side.
A bank of lights went out in the venue for 14 minutes and when the lights came back on, Canada replaced its star strikerdue to a knee injury incurred in an earlier tackle. Tosaint Rickets replaced the injured striker.
Panama's second goal came when Quintero led an attack along the left wing and avoided a sliding tackle by Edgar. Canadian keeper Hirschfeld raced off his line to cut the angle, but Quintero passed the ball back, where Perez was in place to push it home.
Panama wins the match 2-0 and has moved on top of CONCACAF Group C, while Canada has moved into third spot. Standings
