The first international popstar to perform in Paris’ Opera Garnier was Singer George Michael. Paris' Opera Garnier, is a site well-known as a stage for classical music and opera.
As part of his “Symphonica Tour,” the British star performed Sunday evening to support French AIDS charity. He was applauded and cheered on by a list of celebrities as well as "The Artist" actress Berenice Bejo, Jean Paul Gaultier, fashion designer and Dolores Chaplin, Charlie Chaplin's actress granddaughter.
A star attended gala dinner followed after the concert which expected to raise several hundred thousand Euros for the fight against AIDS.
