Gujrat conflicts, Former minister of BJP sentenced to prison for 28 years

A court of India sentenced prison for 28 year to former minister of BJP Maya Kodnani for Gujrat Conflicts in 2002, while leader Babu Bajarnagi was sentenced to lifetime prison. Special court of Indian state gujrat for religious conflicts of 2002 convicted former minister of Narinder Modi’s government Maya Kodnani including 32 others whereas 29 suspects of this case were bailed.

Court has pronounced these orders for Naroda Patia case, in which on 28th February 2002, 95 people were killed during Hindu Muslim conflicts in which most of were kids and women, and this is the biggest event of murders during conflicts. Dr. Maya Kodnani represents Naroda in state assembly and she was also minister from 2007 to 2009. Maya Kodnani was admitted as the closest one to chief minister Narinder Modi
