Supreme court ordering chief secretaries of four provinces to stop smuggling of human body parts and instructed that statistics about smuggling of 4 provinces should be presented in next hearing, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that illegal transplantation of human body parts is a social evil; I hope provinces will make law against it.

3 member bench headed by chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard trial against illegal transplantation if human body parts, Petitioner’s lawyer Tariq Mehmood told the court that Provinces had promised to make laws but there is no progress till now, DG health Qazi Saboor told the court that the legal draft provided by the petitioner was applied as it is but chief justice said in his remarks that law are created but are put in wardrobes, there is no implementation on laws.
