The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have embarked on a tour of South East Asia and the Far East and would begin from Singapore and the Duchess would give her first overseas speech on hospice movement – especially in places where it is still a new subject.

The Duchess has already accepted patronage of only four charities, including East Anglia Children's Hospices (EACH) – she inaugurated a centre in Ipswich for them.
The speech she gave on that occasion was her first speech at home.
She is now preparing to give her first speech on a foreign soil.
The Royal Couple would arrive in Singapore at the start of a nine-day tour of Commonwealth nations in the Far East – it is not just a part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations but also their 2nd official trip as a couple.
The previous one was in Canada and the US last year.
