Amanda Bynes officially has to answer for her actions behind the wheel — she’s just been officially charged in two hit-and-runs that she fled the scene from. If she’s convicted on both counts, she could see the inside of a jail cell for a week year.
Prosecutors decided to reopen her case from back in April for the car accident she got into last month — the third one she managed to flee from.
Now, the L.A. City Attorney has taken the next step — charging Bynes with two counts of misdemeanor hit-and-run, stemming from the two incidents. As for the second alleged incident, we’re told the “smoking gun” for detectives was that the damage to the victim’s car matched the damage to Amanda’s.
She’s due in court later this month to face the charges. Let’s see if she can run away from this one.
