Donning palm fronds in their hair, models presented the stunning collection for the Mara Hoffman Spring 2013 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion at the Stage at Lincoln Center on September 8, 2012 in New York City.
Mara Hoffman is all about feminine gowns and separates with a certain Hawaiian Islands tribal chic, plenty of color as well as neutrals like ivory and black to balance things out.
Color combinations like peach and red, lime green and blue as well as hot pink and teal add vibrance to this well-rounded collection.
Definitely possibilities in this Spring 2013 collection by Mara Hoffman are the chiffon peach gown with a tribal print and flared skirt, her ivory, hot pink and teal gown and the blue and green scallop patterned sleeveless dress.
A red and fuchsia pink chiffon dress has a certain bohemian vibe from the early 1970’s, while the appliqué black and lemongrass yellow dress is reminiscent of a Hawaiian quilt.
And if that might’ve gone unnoticed, the little top that screams “ALOHA” in multi letters drives the point home!
The black, blue and white jumper with the quilted pattern would be a nice topper for her swimsuit in the blue kaleidoscope pattern with the bikini that is cut more generously for fuller figures – well done!
Attending the fashion show today were rapper Lil Kim, actresses Charlotte Ross (loved the dress!), India de Beaufort and Holland Roden as well as several models to include Jessica White, Julie Henderson and Irina Pantaeva.
