
Scandal-plagued Kristen Stewart has reportedly bought $4.8m home on Malibu Beach, California with her mother, Jules Mann.
Judging from her decision to purchase a luxury home, the “Twilight” star, who moved out of the Los Angeles house she shared with former boyfriend Robert Pattinson after having an affair with married director Rupert Sanders is said to be moving on with her life.
22-year-old Kristen Stewart will live with her mother, Jules Mann Stewart, in the fabulous five-bedroom home on Malibu beach, California, actually purchased in Jules’ name. According to reports, her mother filed for divorce from Kristen's father, John Stewart, on August 17. They had been married for 27 years.
The three storey and 5,800-square-foot property features an oval-shaped guest house and has a spectacular view of the water. An online description of the home claims that it has a “radically modern glass and steel” structure with hardwood floors.
Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart made her first public appearance in nearly two months at the premiere of her latest film, “On The Road”, at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada. For her return, fans turned out in scores Thursday night and held placards reading, "Talent, Beauty, Strength and Courage - We stand by Kristen always," and "We are always with you Kristen Stewart."
Dressed in a floral Zuhair Murad dress, the young actress told MTV News that she was happy her fans had turned out to support her. She said, "Dude, I'm really happy that they're here for 'On the Road.’ I think most of them were fans before I had anything to do with 'Twilight', which is why they're here anyways, so it's awesome."
Holding her head high at a difficult time in her life, Kristen Stewart posed for photographers and signed autographs for fans at the mobbed press event.
News of her affair with her 41-year-old “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders broke after pictures showing the pair getting intimate were published by Us Weekly on July 17. The brunette beauty later admitted her mistake and issued a public apology to her "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson.
Kristen Stewart revealed that her latest film, "On the Road”, which is based on the classic Jack Kerouac novel, is one of her favorite books. "I'm somebody that has loved the book their whole life," Stewart said, first reading it when she was 14.
