Gargantuan Batman Blu-ray and DVD Update

The Dark Knight Rises is one of the biggest films this year. And it is still raking in cash at the box office. Just like Marvel’s The Avengers, the DVD and Blu-Ray release is also much awaited.

Now, director Christopher Nolan is known for not including deleted scenes and uncut versions of his films in the DVD or Blu-Ray release. But news are coming in that The Dark Knight Rises may be his very first Director’s Cut. According to rumors, the Director’s Cut version will have expanded scenes on Bane’s origin and we will also get more scenes involving Ra’s Al Ghul. An additional thirty minutes or more will be added to the already lengthy film. Total running time will be 195 minutes or more.

Though this is still in the rumor stage, it may happen. For more on this story, go check out Nuke the Fridge.
