Taking sides: Major split in UNSC after Syria veto

Secretary-General of Military Treaty Organization North Atlantic (NATO) Anders Fogh Rasmussen on 3/9 confirmed, the NATO-led multinational force in Afghanistan will not withdraw from the South Asian countries due to the increase armed attacks against NATO.

NATO Secretary General said that the NATO plan for the gradual transfer of authority over security to Afghan forces and withdraw most troops from Afghanistan by the end of 2014 will not be affected by the attacks.
