In an IED explosion planted on the road side at Mangal Bagh Kandao (An Area) area in Tirrah two brothers were reportedly wounded here on Sunday. The two brothers were reportedly passing through the site where the IED had been planted on the road side at Mangal Bagh Kandao in Tirrah valley when it was detonated which hit the two brethren who sustained injuries. The injured brothers were shifted to Landikotal hospital for first aid treatment, sources added. The sequence of the bomb or IED explosions is in progress in Tirrah side areas for quite a long time.

Separately on Saturday at night time, a powerful bomb explosion had happened in front of a general store of women at Peero Khel area in Landikotal. However, no casualty was reported in the blast, locals said. This is the second bomb blast after Eid that had occurred to target the general stores where items for women are sold. So far no group of militants has claimed responsibilities for the bomb explosions in Landikotal and in Tirrah. The administration has lodged the report of the incident, sources said.
