Paralympics Sponsor Being Protested

During the 2012 Summer Paralympics Games in London, many of the disabled living in the UK have begun to protest one of the sponsors for the Paralympics.

Atos is a firm contracted by the British government that determines whether or not a person receiving disability benefits can really work. I know that some people attempt to scam the system, but this firm actually forces people that are really disabled off of disability due to austerity measures within the UK.

In the past, some that were unfit to work due to being paralyzed from the waist down were deemed able to work by Atos. As a result, 32 disabled people per week commit suicide in Great Britain due to the fact that they are not able to secure an income working and that the government has cast them to the wayside because of austerity.
