Giuliana and Bill Rancic have become proud parents of a beautiful baby boy, born through a gestational carrier, after going through a really tough time.
Giuliana and Bill couldn't have been more ecstatic. Probably, both the parents know the true worth of having this precious little gift, as they tried very hard to have a baby. At last, it was through a gestational carrier that both Giuliana and Bill were able to have a baby. They had been trying to become parents for a really long time, but whatever they did, did not seem to work.
Giuliana and Bill both underwent several tests to determine what was wrong with them and why she could not become pregnant, but nothing turned up and her struggles continued.
The last year, as Giuliana was undergoing fertility treatments, her doctor suspected something and asked her to get her mammography done. When the results turned up, it was discovered that Giuliana had breast cancer and she immediately had to suspend her fertility treatments and go for cancer treatments instead.
Thankfully, with the support of her husband, Giuliana recovered from the disease, but along the way both Giuliana and Bill decided to have a baby through gestational carrier.
At last, their baby boy, to whom they have named Edward Duke Rancic, was born at 10:12 p.m. on Wednesday night in Denver.
Edward Duke Rancic weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces and measured 20 inches after birth.
According to a report by eonline.com, Giuliana told E! News, "Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!"
Giuliana and Bill both were reportedly in the delivery room when the birth of their baby took place. Bill cut the umbilical cord after Edward was born and then Giuliana was the first one to hold her baby in her arms. She then passed their son to Bill, who handled the newborn very carefully.
The baby was born just in time for his parent's fifth wedding anniversary, which also happens to take place on 1 September.
Bill also announced the birth of his son via Twitter and congratulatory messages from other celebrities have started pouring in.
