President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono gets Lifetime Achievement Award from Hipmi

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) here on Friday.

Hipmi praised the government`s economic performance so far and hoped that the domestic climate atmosphere would continue to be positive.

Hipmi general chairman Raja Sapta Oktohari made the statement at the presentation of the award.

He said in the past eight years Indonesia had been able to pass through a number of global economic crisis.

"Indonesia from 2004 and 2011 has been able to pass through regional as well as global crisis well. It has never stopped making economic achievements from 2004 to 2011," he said.

"We are all challenged to progress further. Economic improvement requires all parties` role. We believed this country is not running without a leader," he said.
