Chandra Bahadur Dangi and Jyoti Amge were born in different countries and live 200 miles apart in them.

Chandra Bahadur Dangi 72 years old lives in Rhimkoli a remote village in Nepal. He is believed to have made a living from farming.

Jyoti Amge 18 years old lives in Nagpur India and at 24.7 inches tall is approximately 2 inches taller than Chandra. She wants to become a Bollywood actress.

The meeting was organized by the Guinness Book of World Records which recognizes each of them are the shortest man and the shortest woman in the world.

The picture of the meeting of the two will appear in the Guinness Book Of Records 2013 to be released on September 13th.
