There is a band of small, yet, determined social entrepreneurs keen on solidifying Atlanta as the epicenter for innovation in the digital marketplace.
Connect with them Wednesday, August 29th, when Digital Atlanta hosts an innovators only happy hour at Meehan's Public House, Atlantic Station. With just over a month until Digital Atlanta's four-day media and tech extravaganza, event organizers are giving Atlanta's digital pioneers a sneak peak of what they can expect in October.
Now in it's third year, Digital Atlanta is fertile ground for anyone innovating in technology and media in our town. The week long interactive conference covers mobile technology, entrepreneurship, gaming and more. Digital Atlanta helps novices and natives enhance their online capabilities or create a better experience for their end user.
Title sponsor Engauge has made it possible for all Digital Atlanta 2012 participants to attend free of charge. Already home to several start ups and top tech names like Everywhere, Socutmob, MailChimp, Yepser, and Social People TV, interactive companies bring massive benefits to the greater Atlanta community. By empowering small businesses and the people who start them, Digital Atlanta seeks to multiply the number of tech and media based ventures calling Atlanta home.
“Atlanta has quietly operated as one of the country’s most active hubs for digital marketing, technology and entrepreneurship,” said Jeff Hilimire, president and chief digital officer of Engauge. "We are ready to welcome Atlanta's digital influencers to Atlantic Station and look forward to hosting the best Digital Atlanta yet."
Through Digital Atlanta, entrepreneurs, emerging and established, can educate themselves on rising tech trends and unearth best practices. Speakers and panelists range from digital developers to strategists and include James Andrews, Julie Forbes, Sig Mosley and Kashi Sehgal. The greatest Digital Atlanta asset is the power mix of professionals who attend. Informal conversations with peers often yield timely, invaluable advice.
Thanks are also due to additional sponsors Atlantic Station, Bella Web Designs and media partner Creative Loafing.
