Somali President sends congratulation to the national army on their military success

Mogadishu: President of the Somali transitional federal government, Sharif Sh. Ahmed has sent congratulation to the national forces and the African union peacekeeping forces backing them on their military success against Al-qaeda linked group Al-Shabab.

Speaking to the state media at the presidential palace, Vila-Somalia, Sharif Sh.Ahmed passed on good wishes to the Somali national forces and the African union peacekeeping forces on the latest military progress gains in lower Shabelle region against Al-Shabab militants.

President Sharif expressed goodwill from the election parliament speakership and his deputies saying that he is optimistic ending in good atmosphere and happiness that is due to happen today on Tuesday in the capital Mogadishu.
