PM directs Mukhtar to give hydro power generation priority

Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf Saturday directed the Minister for Water and Power to give priority to hydro power generation for increasing power generation.He expressed these views when Minister for Water and Power Ahmad Mukhtar called on him at the Prime Minister House Islamabad.The Prime Minister directed Ahmad Mukhtar to take measures for preventing power theft.On this occasion, the Minister for Water and Power briefed the PM about the production of electricity and stated that all necessary measure will be taken for increasing power generation.
