7 killed and 10 other wounded in mortar shelling in Bara

In a blind shelling of mortars from undisclosed location in Bara seventeen persons including children and women were severely wounded in Qamber Abad area of Shalobar in Bara here on Saturday. Seven of them succumbed to the deep and severe wounds and died while the rest of the injured was shifted to hospitals in Peshawar. The spokesman of the security forces have blamwed the militnats for firing the mortars to target the civilian population in Bara, which the spokesman of the security forces has condemned in the strongest possible words. While the local people from Bara said that the casualties occurred as a result of the shelling of the mortars and artilery from the forces' side to hit the suspected hideouts of the militants, which in fact killed the innocent persons in Shalobar area of Bara.
