What does a smile mean to you?

Transylvania is a region in Romania where many towns have a high Hungarian population. I live in one of these towns called Sfântu Gheorghe. In this region the minimal salary per month is $170 and the unemployment rate is very high. The population can barely survive on this salary even with minimal spending. Even with the family spending money on the most necessary items for surviving, still a lot of things cannot be bought and the children are the ones who feel it the most. These children are devastated, many of them have their spirits broken and many of them all they understand from this is that their parents cannot buy anything for them. Many times even food and clothes are a luxury. These children do not know real entertainment or recreation because money is needed for everyday and they are faced with many problems and shortages at home. Many of these children are problematic because no one pays attention to them or spends time with them. They do not spend their time wisely and there is no opportunity for sports or entertainment.

This issue has always been important to me and I always wanted to help out but I did not understand the concepts of crowdfunding. Immediately I saw an opportunity on how to help a good cause. My goal is to create a center where needy children can feel safe and comfortable, play and relax. I want to create a place where they can forget all of their difficulties at home and together we can develop hobbies that will keep them on the right track. They will get an education but more importantly to be good role models to them and show them how to be well rounded individuals. I consider it very important to teach them how to change their lives for the better and live their best life possible. These children need to be taught how to think positively, to learn & grow as humans, to be able to laugh, relax and be happy.

It depends on you if this dream is to come true. Even with just a little help, if we stick together and try to make it happen, we are capable of doing great things. Let's make history and an example of how to make this world a better place. You can be apart of our project and apart of making this good cause a reality. Can there be a better goal in life than to put a genuine smile on the face of a child?
