Families of the mummified departed; exhume bodies, and give them a new change of clothes from those they were buried in and then parade them in open-top coffins as a way of honouring their memory.

The ritual continues every three years in the Toraja district of Indonesia's South Sulawesi province.

The families believe their departed ancestors are still with them even after hundreds of years have passed.
