The Obama Campaign has launched a new TV ad with none other than former President Bill Clinton. On RNN-TV, journalistargued it's a very smart and effective move. There continues to be a question of whether President Clinton is an asset or a liability. Those of us that follow politics closely know that Clinton is one of the most beloved figures in American Politics, and infact throughout the world.
The ad features Clinton extolling the economic program of Presidentand warning that Republican’s policies “got us into trouble in the first place.”
The 30-second ad is playing in Florida and seven other swing states.
Clinton faces the camera and declares, “This election to me is about which candidate is more likely to return us to full employment. There is a clear choice.”
He gives his view on what he says is the Republicans’ plan, which he describes as cutting taxes for the upper income people and return to deregulation, saying “That’s what got us into trouble in the first place.
Then he describes what he says is Obama’s plan of investing in innovation, education, job training and the middle class.
“That’s what happened when I was president. We need to keep going with his plan,” Clinton concludes.
