HONIARA, SOLOMON ISLANDS – K M Visa Services Ltd have announced that they are opening an office in the Chinatown area of Honiara in the Solomon Islands. They will be offering Australian Migration Agent services, as well as Education Agent services. This has come about through the creation of a new company led by Martin Karau (a Solomon Islander) and Katrina Potter (an Australian).
Katrina Potter (an Australian Registered Migration Agent, MARN 1278828 and CPA) said today that she is pleased to have the opportunity to conduct business in the Solomon Islands as a migration and education agent. Katrina spent almost a year in the Solomon Islands in 2010/11 as a volunteer, and forged some strong friendships during that time. Martin Karau has also spent time studying and living in Australia, so is well placed to advise Solomon Islanders on the experience.
When asked about the services on offer, Katrina said that she will provide Australian visa advice, and visa application preparation and lodgement services. In addition the company has entered into agreements with some Australian education institutions to provide agency services. Martin Karau will the Office Manager and liaise between clients and Katrina when Katrina is in Australia.
Katrina said “We encourage Solomon Islanders to visit us at our office in Chinatown to discuss visa options. We understand that many people find the visa application process difficult, and we are available to assist with that.”
The office, at the Stephen & Sons building in Chinatown, opens for business on Monday 27th August.
