appeared to be in high spirits Wednesday night as the "Twilight" heartthrob giggled throughout his interview on " Live". Making no mention of girlfriend ’s highly-publicized betrayal and its consequences, the 26-year-old British star joked that he was homeless.
According to Daily Mail, when host Jimmy Kimmel noted to Pattinson that he was without a permanent home in Los Angeles the last time he appeared on the show, the good-natured “Cosmopolis” star joked, "I still am.”
Robert Pattinson, who had shared a bungalow in L.A.'s posh Los Feliz neighborhood with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, added, "No, I rented this archway and I just live behind it. In one of those trash cans.”
Both Pattinson and Stewart moved out of their love nest since news of her affair with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders broke on July 17.
Looking cool in a black blazer, Pattinson also revealed that he spends a lot of time on Craigslist, buying and selling things on the website.
"I buy everything off Craigslist, my friends, that's what I was initially looking on it for,” he explained, adding that he recently went to Chino Hills, California, to buy a car for $2500.
The “Water for Elephants” star went on to say that he is an avid cyclist, but his bicycle almost got him in trouble when he accidently passed by an area in L.A. notorious for “dogging.”
According to US magazine, he told Jimmy Kimmel, “I used to turn up at this parking lot looking at everyone like, 'Why are all these guys sitting around in their cars all the time?'”
“And I'm going there everyday kind of thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little Lycra pants, and one day there was a big raid,” he added.
Talking about his latest flick, "Cosmopolis", Robert Pattinson revealed that there are a couple sex scenes in the David Cronenberg-directed film. Kimmel then mentioned that he looked upset during the scene in which he was getting a prostate exam in a limo, to which Pattinson replied, "Someone was telling me about this vein that comes out of my forehead that only ever happens when very good things happen or very, very bad things."
"Cosmopolis", featuring Pattinson as a young billionaire, is currently in theatres. His next film, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2", will hit theatres in November. According to reports, Pattinson will walk down the red carpet at the premiere of the final installment of the widely-popular saga.
An insider spilled to The Sun that Pattinson, nicknamed R-Patz by the media, made the decision to help save Kristen Stewart being ridiculed by “Twilight” fans. The source told the tabloid, “He’s told movie bosses he’ll walk the red carpet to save her from embarrassment and any female fans booing her. He is being professional and taking the higher moral ground.”
