The cast of film “For A Good Time, Call...” assembled at the Regal Union Square theater in New York for their premiere earlier today August 21, 2012.
Actors, Lauren Miller, Andrew Karpen, Ari Graynor and Jamie Travis were on location to meet locals and A-listers who attended the film’s premiere and later the After Party held at the Ajna Bar.
For the New York premiere and After Party, actress Ari Graynor chose a hot pink sleeveless sheath, just past the knees, with an unusual plunging square neckline, while costar Lauren Miller rocked a strapless black and white dress with a layered skirt. Both chose black shoes, pink lipstick and dark red nailposlish.
Not surprisingly, the plot of “For A Good Time, Call...” is about former college frenemies “Lauren,” played by Lauren Miller, and “Katie,” played by Ari Graynor, who move into a sought-after Gramercy Park apartment, and to make ends meet, start up a phone sex line together with a mutual friend. Sounds like a good comedy with a lot of lessons learnt…
Written by actress Lauren Miller herself and Katie Anne Naylon, the film is directed by Jamie Travis, and also stars Mimi Rogers, and James Wolk.
But back to the film’s New York premiere, also attending the premiere were designer Stacey Bendet (who finessed a summer floral dress with knee-high black boots), actresses Sami Gayle (in a dressy beige/nude shorts suit, teamed with lace and a coral tank top), Savannah Wise (awesome oxfords!), Buffi Jashanmal (loved the cobalt metallic detail on the black pants!) and Mercedes Masohn (in black and white).
Actresses Vanessa Bayer, and Sugar Lyn Beard all looked great in their monochrome LBD’s (little black dresses), while writer Katie Anne Naylon’s black dress featured a floral pattern on top with a beige background.
