Philippine Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo’s Dead Body Found – Pictures

(Check It Out! Photos!) MANILA, Philippines- After search and rescue operation which started last Saturday, DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo dead body was successfully recovered 180 feet underwater of Ticao Channel around 8am of Tuesday, August 21, 2012.

The 54-year-old politician boarded a Piper Seneca airplane last Saturday afternoon, from Cebu City to Naga City. Based on reports, the plane was experiencing an engine malfunction which pushed the plane pilot to decide an emergency landing at the Moises R. Espinosa Airport in Masbate City. The aircraft crashed into the sea near the coast of the Masbate Island on August 18, 2012.

According to presidential spokeswoman Abigail Valte, "He (Robredo) is a very big loss to the cabinet and to the entire nation."

Sec. Robredo’s close friend Marikina City Vice-Mayor Jose Fabian Cadiz said, "He was a very good man and an even greater public servant. He will be very missed."
