Known for the classic movie Top Gun who cemented Tom Cruise’ as a bankable actor, Tony Scott who directed the said movie leapt off the Vincent Thomas Bridge as some cruisers watch it - shocked! It is not another movie anymore!

According to news, on July 23rd, Scott was seen in Beverly Hills with a sad face after hearing the news of having a brain cancer that is beyond medication. Sources said he just want to spare his love ones, his wife and twins the pain of seeing him dying slowly.

Tony Scott is the younger brother of Ridley Scott who is also a filmmaker. Both brothers endure success but it was Tony who has first success with Top Gun becoming the highest grossing film of 1987. He also directed few movies with Denzel Washington like the Man on Fire, Taking of Pelham, Deja’ Vu and the Unstoppable.

According to reports, the filmmaker made his way to the top of the bridge around midnight and jump off from there around 12:30 in the morning. A 911 call was receive about a man who jumped off the bridge around 12:35 and his body was found around 3 in the afternoon.

The director has left his wife and twins, Tom Cruise with their Top Gun sequel and a movie that just got finished with Christian Bale.
