Nicki Minaj will be the new ‘American Idol’ judge

Nicki Minaj is all set to join the judges’ seat of Fox’s singing reality show ‘American Idol.’ “I'm not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it,” the US Weekly quoted one insider as saying. “A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening,” the insider added.

Another source told the US Weekly that the 29-year-old singer is “100% confirmed to judge American Idol.” However, Fox and Minaj’s representatives declined to comment when contacted by the magazine.
