Eva Longoria Foundation hosts Global Gift Gala 2012 in Marbella

Actress and philanthropist Eva Longoria and her Eva Longoria Foundation joined forces this year with the Cesare Scariolo Foundation to help raise money for children at the Global Gift Gala 2012, held at the Gran Melia Resort Don Pepe on August 19, 2012 in Marbella, Spain.

For the occasion, Eva Longoria wore a strapless purple gown by Alberta Ferretti, accessorizing with a small pewter clutch bag.

As part of their philanthropic weekend, the fund-raising gala was preceded by a Walk-A-Thon on Saturday morning throughout Marbella.

Presenters for the evening were Amaury Nolasco and Mar Saura, with special guest and presenter of the Global Gift Humanitarian Award 2012 Deepak Chopra, who presented the award to Vicente del Bosque Gonzalez, the 1st Marquis of Del Bosque, who is a former Spanish footballer and currently the manager of the Spanish national football team.

Performing this year were Terrence Howard, Diego Amador, Diana Navarro, Pastora Soler, Chenoa and Bruce Baps.

Among those attending the gala were Carlos Arturo Zapata, Ana Fernandez, Maria Bravo, Diana Navarro, Maria Jose Suarez, Lorena Morlote, David Meca, Luis Ortiz, Gunilla Von Bismarck, Sergio Scariolo, Blanca Ares, Neeveen Ashmawi, Beatriz Trapote, Jose Manuel Parada, Silvie Van der Vaart, Mar Saura, Curi Gallardo and Maria Pineda.
