Obama dishes on friendship with George Clooney

George Clooney is a good friend and a good person who is easily get hurt about protecting that friendship, President Barack Obama says about the actor. Clooney doesn’t take advantage of their friendship, Obama added. He keeps his distance so that he won’t be judged for hanging out with Hollywood celebrities.

First lady Michelle Obama said of Clooney: "He's cute, too."

At Clooney’s Los Angeles home the actor held a fundraiser for Obama in May that raised nearly $15 million. The actor is set to hold another fundraiser for the president later this month in Geneva.

In an interview that was aired Monday, Obama tells Entertainment Tonight that he and Clooney got to know each other through his work on Sudan when Obama was in the U.S. Senate.
