Well known British film maker Tony Scott parked his car on the eastbound lanes of the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles which links San Pedro and Terminal Island, calmly walked to the edge and then plunged into the waters below.

He left his suicide note in his black Toyota Prius car.

Thus he put an end an illustrious career in which he had given a number of unforgettable movies like ‘Top Gun’, ‘Enemy of the State’, ‘Days of Thunder’, and 'Beverly Hills Cop II’ etcetera.

His body was fished out of the waters after nearly six hours.

This has been reported in news.sky.com of dated 20th of August.

He is survived by his actress wife Donna Scott and his twin sons.

It seems he was working on a sequel of ‘Top Gun’ with Tom Cruise.

May his soul rest in peace.
