Colts No. 1 draft pick Andrew Luck looked good in his preseason debut by hammering the St. Louis Rams in 38-3 win. Luck will face a stiffer challenge Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers defense. Steelers defense is not as good as before but still good enough to get a win despite losing key pieces like cornerback William Gay, linebacker James Farrior(retirement) and tackle Jamon Meredith to free agency.

Three other stars—linebacker James Harrison, nose tackle Casey Hampton and running back Rashard Mendenhall will most likely will sat out with injuries in tonights game. Marshall McFadden registered 4 tackles in the opener 24-23 losing to the Eagles last week.

Ben Roethlisberger was sharp on offense leading a 16-play scoring drive in the first game under new offensive coordinator Todd Haley. On offense Steelers remain without wide receiver Mike Wallace. However, Andrew Luck will face a daunting task as his mettle will be tested tonight but he’s shown maturity, accuracy and composure in his NFL debut. Luck threw two touchdowns, including a 63-yarder on his first NFL pass, to lead Indianapolis in the Colts' first preseason-opening win. Expect players like Troy Polamalu, LaMarr Woodley and Lawrence Timmons to give Luck lock-up stare down at the defense.

The former Stanford star is not intimidated at all, ''It'll be fun,'' Luck said. ''I realize every defense is good in the NFL, in my mind. But to have a chance to go against a great historical defense, a great franchise, with a great fan base, will be fun.'' Check this page for Colts vs Steelers live Score updates
